Resource Data Management (RDM) are delighted to participate in this year’s FMI Energy & Store Development (E+sd) conference. Our US team will be onsite in Baltimore, 23 – 26 September, to showcase HVAC and refrigeration control and monitoring solutions proven to create an efficient control infrastructure that helps supermarkets reduce energy use and operating costs.
Advanced Refrigeration Controllers Including CO2
RDM also offers advanced refrigeration controllers for standard and CO2 applications which will be on display at FMI’s E+sd. Part of RDM’s Intuitive range of HVAC/R controllers, the Intuitive CO2 Superpack for transcritical rack and condenser control delivers outstanding control for HT, LT, and parallel transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems. It also allows rack and condenser fault monitoring to help businesses ensure their refrigeration systems are running smoothly.
The Intuitive range also features a multi valve case controller that can be used with standard or CO2 refrigerants to allow flexibility for the system design. The controller can be configured for PWM or Stepper applications.
Remote Monitoring to Prevent Refrigeration Failure
One of the solutions the team will discuss onsite is our remote monitoring software ActiveFM™. ActiveFM gives businesses the opportunity to access their data remotely via any web browser. This includes refrigeration temperatures, alarms, and energy use. Changes to parameters can also be carried out remotely across multiple sites at once. Using ActiveFM, our remote monitoring bureau comprised of Technical Incident Handlers monitors our clients’ HVAC/R assets and triages alarms to ensure assets are protected.
Predictive Maintenance Software for Reduced Running Costs
Featured within ActiveFM, the TPI tool helps businesses carry out predictive maintenance by showing a performance score for refrigeration cases or walk-ins. This allows users to see at a glance if any assets are underperforming and fix issues before they become serious.
Our brand-new analytical software, RPI, also offers predictive maintenance capabilities. Its graphical representation of performance data allows users to see if any asset is using too much energy indicating a fault. Businesses can then carry out maintenance to reduce the energy use to a normal level and prevent future issues.
