Resource Data Management (RDM) are delighted to announce the release of a new mobile app, enabling the easy set-up and managing of RDM’s recently launched Bluetooth Wireless Temperature Probe.
The temperature probe is battery-powered and can therefore easily be placed in refrigeration cabinets and other cold storage applications, including delivery vehicles, as no wired installation is required. It sends the readings via a Bluetooth connection every ten minutes to RDM’s control system head-end DMTouch.
Setting up and managing the temperature probe is carried out with the newly launched app. The temperature probe can be configured from wherever it has been placed, simply using a mobile phone utilising Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
The status of the probe’s connections and configurations can be read using the app. The mobile app also allows for a temperature offset to be added for calibration purposes and a battery voltage check can be carried out via the app.
