Resource Data Management (RDM) are delighted to sponsor this year’s UK QSR Media Awards. The conference brings together industry leaders in the QSR sector to discuss current challenges and opportunities for growth. The awards section of the event honours the outstanding innovations of brands, operators, and individuals in the industry.
Expert Talks Deliver Solutions to Industry Challenges
Expert talks and panel discussions are part of the conference, where industry leaders come together to discuss and share solutions to current challenges of the QSR market.
Tim Thain, RDM’s Account Manager, will deliver his talk ‘Smart Control, Simple Savings’ where he will address the industry’s latest challenges:
- Rising energy and operational costs
- Food safety compliance pressures for large estates
- Growing IT and cybersecurity risks
The solutions discussed during Tim’s talk include data-driven energy management software for reducing operational costs and energy use. Key during this section is leveraging real-time energy insights and using predictive analytics tools.
Automated refrigeration temperature monitoring software, which produces audit-ready reports for EHO inspections, is also featured in the talk. Replacing manual temperature logging and receiving instant alert when thresholds are breached are crucial time savings from a cost and food safety perspective.
Another focus of the talk will be cybersecurity. Data security is crucial to any business, including those in the QSR industry. Secure data ensures business continuity and prevents the costly effects of cyberattacks. During the discussion, the focus will be on encryption, device hardening, and live monitoring.
Exhibition Forum Presents Further Opportunities for Discussion
In addition to delivering the talk during the conference, RDM will host a stand in the exhibition forum. Our team will be onsite to provide further information on how QSRs can reduce energy use, increase operational efficiency, and help ensure food safety compliance.
