Resource Data Management (RDM) are delighted to announce the appointment of Ged Evans as its new Group CEO, effective 1st January 2025. Ged succeeds former Group CEO Andrew Chandler, who is retiring after 25 years of exceptional leadership since founding the company in June 2000.
In reflecting on the transition, Ged said: "I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Andrew for his unwavering dedication and vision in building RDM into the global business it is today. His commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions has laid a strong foundation for the next chapter of our growth. It is both a privilege and a challenge to follow in such accomplished footsteps."
Under the leadership of Ged Evans, RDM will build on its existing success in HVAC, retail refrigeration, and temperature compliance solutions, supporting food safety compliance, and building & energy management. With our head office in the UK supported by regional hubs in the USA & Malaysia, and a production facility in Taiwan, RDM is positioned to serve a diverse and expanding global market.
"RDM operates at the heart of industries that are essential to modern life. From ensuring the integrity of cold chains to optimising energy use in commercial buildings, we deliver technologies that not only meet today’s needs but anticipate tomorrow’s challenges. I am committed to driving our strategy forward, harnessing innovation, and expanding into new markets while strengthening our position in existing regions. We will continue to prioritize sustainability, technological excellence, and the needs of our customers in everything we do."
Ged is also looking forward to working closely with RDM's parent company, Sdiptech, as the two organisations align to achieve their shared vision and values. "Sdiptech and RDM share a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Together, we will drive forward initiatives that reinforce our leadership in the industry and deliver value to our customers and stakeholders."
RDM’s growth and success have been made possible by its talented and dedicated team, many of whom have been with us at every stage of our journey. Recognizing the importance of this expertise, Ged emphasized the company’s commitment to investing in its people: “Our team is the backbone of RDM, and as we embark on this new phase of growth and transformation, we will focus on empowering our workforce to meet the evolving needs of the business. By doing so, we ensure that our people grow alongside the company, maintaining the innovative spirit and customer focus that have always set us apart.”
As the incoming CEO, Ged brings a forward-looking vision to set a strategic direction for RDM, focusing on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and leveraging the latest advancements in AI and digital transformation.
