Regulation (EU) 2021/979 amending annexes VII to XI of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) entered into force on July 2021. Resource Data Management Ltd is aware of and agrees with the purpose of REACH which is to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment.
Resource Data Management Ltd is neither a manufacturer nor importer into Europe of substances or preparations and therefore the registration requirements do not apply to us.
Resource Data Management’s products are considered articles as defined in REACH Article 3(3). These products/articles under normal and reasonable conditions of use do not have intended release of substances, therefore the requirement in REACH Article 7 (1) (b) for registration of substances contained in these products/articles does not apply.
Resource Data Management’s products/articles, do not contain Substances of Very High Concern or if there are SVHC in the product/article, the content is less than the 0.1% (wt/wt) as defined by REACH Article 57, Annex XIV, Directive 67/548/EEC. Therefore, the requirement in REACH Article 7 (2) to notify European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) if a product/article contains more than 0.1% wt/wt of an SVHC and tonnage exceeding 1 tonne per importer per year is not applicable.
Please note that the ECHA is expected to regularly review and update the Candidate List of SVHC and as such this declaration is based on the January 2023 published list of 233 substances. While we do not believe our products will ever contain a SVHC substance in excess of 0.1% (wt/wt) Resource Data Management will continue to evaluate materials and products for compliance.
