Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Alarm Handler who possesses excellent customer service skills, is confident, polite, and has excellent communication and keyboard skills.

A refrigeration qualification or HVAC skills would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.

The successful candidate will work well as part of a team and be adaptable and conscientious. Good timekeeping and attendance are essential.

Responsibilities
  • To manage and triage refrigeration and BMS alarms using bespoke RDM alarm management software
  • Investigate alarms and liaise with sites to agree on a repair package to resolve the alarm by remotely connecting to RDM panels on-site
  • Add clear and concise notes for every alarm to allow all parties to understand what action has been taken
  • Raise service requests for customers’ contractors to attend the site and repair the cause of the alarm
  • Provide first-stage assistance for customers with issues
Skills Required
  • Call Centre or similar customer service experience – first-class communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good keyboard skills
  • An excellent telephone manner and attitude is essential
  • A flexible and hard-working attitude, with a can-do mindset
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good timekeeping and attendance record is essential
Working Hours

Core hours are from 7.00am until 7.00pm

Shift patterns:

  • Week 1 Work: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2 Work: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

These shifts are subject to change and flexibility is important.

Remuneration
  • Salary of £23,567.93 per year
  • Inconvenience pay for weekends and Christmas day
  • Optional BUPA Healthcare after 6 months
  • 6 Monthly Attendance related bonus paid pro rata
  • Discretionary Annual Profit Related Bonus
  • Nest Pension Scheme in line with current Government guidelines
