Senior Software Embedded Engineer

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Embedded Engineer. The successful applicant will join a highly skilled engineering team. A hands on role, they will be involved in the development of new products and maintenance of existing products.

 

Responsibilities:


Development of new products, this may include initial prototype boards with no firmware so some hardware knowledge would be useful. Fault finding with initial prototype boards. Adding features to existing products.
 

Core Competencies:


Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

Essential
  • Experience in a business environment of the several of the following: C, C++, Linux, MFC, Embedded Programming, HTML, XML.

Senior IT Systems Engineer

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer with proven skills and experience:

 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Production and maintenance of key IT operating systems and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all current regulations such as GDPR, PCI DSS etc.
  • Working with internal staff ensuring IT is delivered in an effective and timely manner and within budget.
  • Liaise with teams in offices in USA, Malaysia and Taiwan to provide IT support and ensure their IT standards meet the specified requirements.
  • Setting up and training new users.
  • Carrying out regular health checks of IT systems, troubleshooting, identifying areas of weakness and take appropriate action to safeguard the company’s systems and IT environment.
  • Incident response (including out of hours support).
  • Work with customers’ IT teams to implement, upgrade or fault find system networking related to sales of products and services.
  • Maintaining an up to date and accurate asset log for all IT/Phone and print equipment, software and licences working with procurement and HR.
 

Core Compentencies:


Essential
  • IT Graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience of an IT managerial role including first line responsibility for hardware, software and networks.
  • Natural and genuine interest in technology with the ability to independently problem solve.
  • Knowledge of software programming (C# / PHP / JavaScript).
  • An able communicator with the ability to communicate both with internal staff and customers.
  • Able to take responsibility, make decisions and take lead.
  • Deep technical experience, depth, knowledge and capability.
  • Be willing and able to deal with out of hours IT system emergencies.
 
Experience
  • Knowledge of Windows Server systems within domain environment.
  • Knowledge of DNS servers, SSL, Active Directory, VPN configuration, Cisco router/firewall programming.
  • Experience of configuration of SIP based telephone systems using Asterisk.
  • Microsoft IIS and website configuration, including websites configured as a web farm.
  • Good working knowledge of website design or preferably hands on experience of website design (HTML/JavaScript/CSS/ASP.NET).
  • Knowledge of Apache and PHP website installation and configuration.
  • Experience of maintenance of CRM systems – such as Sugar / Suite CRM.

Marketing Communications Executive

You will be responsible for the creation of inspiring content and lead generation campaigns that create value. Applicants should have demonstrable experience with proven results and the confidence to measure results and make recommendations that will improve performance with growth and revenue objectives in mind.

The role requires a flexible individual, with the capability to think both creatively and strategically. You must be multi-talented, with a varied skill set, flexibility and willingness to contribute to all aspects of marketing strategy and delivery, if required. An excellent communicator, with an eagerness to adapt and grow, you will be down to earth with a can-do attitude.

 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Development and day-to-day implementation of a Content Marketing Strategy, content planning and lead generation.
  • Copywrite, research and publish topical blogs, news posts, social media content, email campaigns and whitepapers, relevant to the HVAC and BEMS control and monitoring industries.
  • Publish content for technical, product-related assets and communications. For use across varying outbound Marketing communications, including product literature, catalogues, web pages, videos and webinars.
  • On occasion, support the Marketing Manager in the delivery of exhibitions and events and the associated communication strategies.
  • Identify new and creative ideas to help develop and improve the overall Marketing and lead generation strategy.

  • Experience in Umbraco or another content management system.
  • Keen interest in technology and/or software.
  • Knowledge of SEO, including keyword research and online copywriting, would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with complex products and solutions.
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign ).
