RDM Managing director scales Kilimanjaro
Resource Data Management managing Director Andrew Chandler has completed a tour of Mount Kilimanjaro in the East African country of Tanzania.
Over the course of 10 days, from the 19th to the 30th of December 2007, Mr Chandler and his sons David and Christopher with their group of guides and porters braved -20° C temperatures, thin air and cucumber soup, to reach to an altitude of 5895 meters, successfully reaching the highest peak in Africa.
Mr Chandler commented on his experience: "The experience of Africa and the poverty they live in will be with me forever. The look of happiness on the faces of the poverty stricken children reminds us that life without material things can still be so rich."
