Wireless I.P site success

RDM has successfully installed our first wireless solution.

Marks & Spencer's Winchester store recently had a major refit deploying an RDM Data Director system and as part of the refit a warehouse some 1000m down the road had to be connected up. The warehouse contains a coldroom suite, so Mercury controllers were fitted to the suite and connected to the Data Director using a wireless access point solution, transmitting standard IP over the 802.11b standard. The equipment was installed and immediately established communication between the two points. The Data Director logged on the coldrooms and the installation was complete.
