Cooling industry award nomination

Organised by the RAC and with sponsorship from leading end users, global manufacturers and national contractors, the Cooling Awards took on an environmental theme to stimulate, reward and celebrate the best of the new approaches to environmentally friendlier cooling now coming on stream.

Resource Data Management entered 3 categories:

Environmental Pioneer – Individual

Environmental Pioneer – Refrigeration

Environmental Product of the Year.

We were also fortunate enough to have our work and products entered by Asda - Walmart in the Green End User of the Year, Small Projects category. RDM were nominated as finalists in two entries but unfortunately were runners up both times.

Andrew Bailey editor and associate publisher of the RAC commented “With buildings using around half of all energy produced and responsible for 50% of global carbon emissions, it was inescapable that this industry would find itself in the firing line as policy makers zero’d their sights. The environment is the single most important issue facing the industry”.

Steve Nicoll, Sales Director for Resource Data Management comments: “Given the backdrop outlined by Andrew, I am pleased the RAC have taken up the gauntlet and driven forward these awards.
