RDM Office Expansion

Over the course of 2006 Resource Data Management completed an ambitious office expansion.

Without disruption to operations, two new areas were constructed. On the ground floor an additional 1500 square ft of space for our Technical monitoring and call centre - a doubling of the existing area - and on the first floor a new 2000 square feet office was added for expansion of our Sales department.

In addition to the new office spaces, the existing Engineering area was also completely refurbished.

To ensure a high standard to the underlying electrical and data wiring, RDM used Essex based R&R Electrical Services Ltd, one of RDM’s own customers.

In keeping with RDM philosophies the areas were designed with energy saving in mind while still providing a cutting edge infrastructure.

Air conditioning has been provided by the latest Daikin VRV-II system that are networked via Daikin’s BACnet and controlled by RDM’s Data Manager.

To complete the project much of the building heating system was upgraded. Again to ensure high standard, work was carried out by: Sub Zero Ltd.

Nick Landa installed modern and energy efficient boilers that are again networked and controlled using RDMs new Plant Controller.

The expansion has provided the space needed to increase staff numbers and will provide room for future expansion. Resource Data Management now employs over 90 staff, continuing to provide remote monitoring & facilities management, and complete controls solutions for over 200 customers based around the world.
