Resource Data Management’s Healthcare group develops products and services which address the critical nature of clinical and pharmaceutical applications.
We understand that our equipment is used in situations where any failure of the systems being monitored is both unacceptable and potentially dangerous and ensure our products satisfy that requirement.
Our installed base is demonstrating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year that our reliability and performance is more than equal to the challenge. Central to our capability is the Data Manager
a multiple input/output measurement and control system with web server capability.
Typical applications for the Data Manager include:
Blood banks
"Delivering confidence that this vital asset will not be wasted, by providing systems to monitor temperature, humidity and power consumption."
Temperature mapping
The use of our Data Builder application allows multiple points to be measured individually or averaged across any number of points. Using the Data Builder means that any future requirement can be easily integrated into the Data Manager.
Pharmacies
"Constant monitoring of pharmaceutical products to ensure that they are delivered to patients in optimum condition."
Pharmaceutical production
Data Managers are used to ensure that production areas are maintained with strict temperature and humidity limits and can either raise alarms for staff to implement manual controls or automatically issue control signals to address fault situations.

RDM products are designed to meet the requirements of GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practices guidelines) and as such may be validated as part of our customer’s quality programs.
Monitoring, management and control
Monitoring is essential in all of the above applications but a key strength of RDM is to enhance the capability through our control products.
The combination of monitoring and control means that whenever a problem is identified it can be rapidly addressed. By offering systems which both monitor and control, RDM can also play a significant part in reducing our customer’s carbon footprint and in this time of spiralling energy costs our equipment can pay for itself in an ever shortening timescale.
RDM’s capability is completed with our in-house facilities management bureau which offers 24/7/365 monitoring and alarm management of our customer’s installations. We use IP (Internet Protocol) to allow our staff to monitor systems not just in the UK, but anywhere in the world.
Our highly trained staff issue engineer callouts when appropriate or send control commands to return systems to specification. Each customer’s situation is unique and service
agreements are created to meet each unique situation.
The Triple Play of monitoring, control and management means that RDM is uniquely placed to assist our customer’s in meeting the highest level of protection.
